Our Canadian friends from the British Motorcycle Owners Club (BMOC) have invited NWNO to attend their annual campout in Riondel British Columbia
What: A chill camping weekend on a scenic lake in the Kootenays. Normally get 30-40 riders. We do a commemorative T shirt for each year, which is available for sale ($20 Cdn). There is no registration fee but do let us know if you plan to attend. Most of us tent it (sites already booked but always room). If bringing a trailer/RV need to use the link below to book a site. We have a group meal on the Sat night ($15cdn per head).
Location: Riondel – small village approximately an hour north of Creston or you come through Nelson (great town!) and use the Balfour Ferry. Border crossings that work well would be Boundary, Nelway or Porthill. It is a town camp-site with decent facilities including showers a small shop and a nice beach (but stony – water shoes needed for most of us). Riondel has a convenience store which has most things (including cold beer). Check out the Lets Camp link for more campsite details.
When: We will be riding from the Kelowna area on Fri 11th. Happy to see NWNOC members if they want to meet here. It is a great ride on Hwy 6 through the Monashees including the wonderful New Denver to Kaslo road.
