Join us for a Plain fun time in Plain, WA, May 15-17. Thanks to Jim Franzel for organizing this event. Group ride on Friday and Saturday with a BBQ dinner and bonfire at Jim's family cabin just outside of Plain. Please RSVP so we get a head count for food. 

Tentative Schedule:

Friday May 15:  Arrive in Plain, WA. 

4pm depart the Old Mill Café at 4pm for a roundabout ride to the 59er Diner in Coles Corner via Fish Lake and Lake Wenatchee

5pm – dinner at the 59er diner

Saturday May 16:

0900 breakfast at the Old Mill Café in Plain. Riders top off gas and kickstands up at 10am from parking lot. Depart for Waterville via old highway through Peshastin and on to East Wenatchee, down the Columbia River and up the Palisades Valley for lunch in Waterville. Leave Waterville about 2pm and head back to Plain.

5pm – BBQ dinner and bonfire at Rita Franzel’s family cabin in Ponderosa Estates (about 3 miles east of Plain). There will be roadside “Norton” signs heading out of Plain to the cabin to follow.

Sunday May 17 – nothing planned – heading home.

There are three motels that are good places to stay.

The Beaver Valley Motel in Plain. It’s sort of pricey but nice.

The Squirrel Tree Inn at Coles Corner has rooms and an RV Resort

The 59er dinner in Coles Corner also has cabins.

There are also many AirBB, VBRO and Vacasa cabins in the area. When you search for cabins, use Plain WA, Coles Corner. or Ponderosa WA as locations
